I'm a Mann

Write a blog post about yourself Chris.

 About me?

 Yes, about you. Who else?

 What about me?

 Just tell us about you.

 [crickets]

Well, that’s an awfully broad mandate. Thanks KWood. Certainly, I don’t think anyone’s worried about where I grew up, but if you must know, I've lived in:

and
and even

Not to mention about a dozen other places. I don’t think anyone is concerned about my marital status. Single, but don’t worry, I've been writing love letters to this girl:

She’ll come around. I can be very persuasive. I am a lawyer after all.

You guys are worried about the important stuff. The stuff that matters to real estate agents. So, here it is:

1. I love pie. LOVE pie. Except coconut pie. That’s just gross.

2. I hate olives. Seriously. Who eats these things? Please stop.

3. I love grammar. I once dated a girl just because she told me a grammar joke. If you can properly use a semi-colon you may have the key to my heart.

4. I’m actually, for real, going to Kenya in November. And, no, I’m not doing it to impress some girl. Stop asking me that.

5. I say "ma'am" and "sir."  A lot. My seventh grade teacher, Mrs. Gibbs, scared the holy hell out of me on my first day of school when I moved to Tennessee as a kid -- "You will say 'ma'am' and 'sir' or I will make you regret ever moving here." (an actual quote) So... I say "ma'am" and "sir."  I don't think you are old. Please don't get upset with me.

6. I will never visit Go Garner without a chaperone again.

7. I love what I do. Which I know is a little hard to believe, because, honestly, who loves title work? And, really, the title work is not exactly what 10 year old Chris always wanted to do (but I did start doing title work at 12). Every day I get to meet clients who are realizing a dream. They are happy, and I’m excited for them. It’s a very satisfying area of law to practice. I’m proud that I get to do it with the agents at Go Realty.
