Culture Book 2011 - Dave Thomas

What is the Go Culture? We are a very diverse and dynamic group, who have a true 'family' caring and concern for each other. We genuinely and wholeheartedly celebrate each other's victories, and help lift each other up when we have fallen. It is not about who has closed the most houses or listed entire neighborhoods, it is about the difference we are making in peoples lives. Providing a great service experience for a customer is just as revered as a sale. Volume is nice, but isn't the priority. Our customer is the priority…their needs come before our own. We all truly are in this to help. We don't want our face on the billboard or the side of a bus…that isn't why we are here. We are here to make a difference. There truly is no ego here. However, we do all share a little 'swagger' when it comes to this company. We are very proud to be a part of changing the way things are done. This movement is bound to catch on…

Go cares about US and it is evident. We are given a very open, honest and accepting atmosphere to air any concerns, listens to ideas, issues are discussed and quickly resolved, and nothing is NOT open to discussion. Whether it is business or personal, we are supported, guided, and it is obvious we are valued. One of my favorite things is everyone is on an even playing field. It isn't about who you are, or how long you've been there, we share the same commission plans and benefits. There are no under the table deals, no favoritism shown to anyone. We are ALL important and play a critical role in the company and it's atmosphere. We are given the tools and training needed to help make us successful, and the best coaching in the business (AND YOU DON'T EVEN PAY EXTRA FOR IT!!)

There is a definite spirit of always trying to improve or to "Be Better". A better agent, co-worker, friend, significant other, and neighbor. Most of us are involved with local charities, schools, churches, and our communities…doing what we can to help. With Go Give Back, we each pick a charity to donate a portion of each closing to and the company matches that contribution. Being better in everything we touch…or at least giving it our best effort.

Go is fun! We actually get a lot of work done, and have a heck of a good time doing it! Going to the office isn't a dreaded task, it is more of a treat! There is always someone there to chat with, bounce ideas off of, or feed off their energy. And while we are on that subject…energy is never lacking at Go. It is a very upbeat and positive atmosphere. If you have an issue, something not going right…put it in the actual Drama Box by the front door and move on! I love that! The first Friday Happy Hours are a great networking event but is also a way to ensure we all are staying in touch with each other. There is no other real estate company like this one… and I am very grateful to be a part of it. I am very excited to see us continue to grow while staying true to our beliefs and passion!
