After years of competitive swimming as a kid, going to the pool is not something that always inspires me.  It is a routine that brings back memories of being excessive in my adolescence.  Today was a swim day for me.  In the pool at 7:00 a.m.  Usually, that doesn't fire me up.  However this morning, I woke before the alarm  rang at 6:00 a.m.  I am not a morning person, so it was a bit weird to feel energetic and excited on my way to the pool.  I met Phil there for our first workout together.  It was new, Phil was his excited self, and we had a blast.  Instead of watching the clock and pushing myself through, I ended the workout and wondered where our time had gone.

The difference? Doing the work together.  Laughter, conversation, and common effort make the load light ... and fun!   That's why I love working at Go.  I am not an independent, lone-wolf agent or BIC ... that's such a draining way to travel.  At Go, I have lots of friends to push me over the bumps, work lighter, laugh often and even swim a bit farther ... together.
